Grislybuzz.com (hereinafter “Grislybuzz”), is an English-language online media platform, providing up-to-date information, news, travel and lifestyle tips for Ugandans, Africans and People around the world.

Collecting and using your Information
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Contact form/ Newsletters
We do collect information on our users through Google Analytics, and when you sign up for our newsletter. We also collect information through comments systems and our contact form, at both you need to positively confirm the sending of your information as is needed under the GDPR guidelines.
If you have signed up for our newsletter in the past or future, or given us your email address because of something else, we will not sell or pass on your details to any other company.
We may send marketing emails to you on behalf of trusted partners, but haven’t done this till 2018. Please note that we reserve the right to access and disclose personal data to comply with applicable laws and lawful government requests, to operate our systems properly and to protect both ourselves and our users.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
