Google also has made a point of rolling out localized websites for almost all countries where they have a presence, as it provides users with local information first before displaying international results. According to Alexa, the localized website is also the sixth most visited site in Uganda.
The most popular social networking site in the world is also number one in Uganda. Ever since the rise of Facebook, more and more users have been creating their accounts. It is now the fastest growing website in the country and second most visited behind Google.
